The shares of Stock A of Sanyou Chemical Industry Co., Ltd ( Sanyou Chemical ) , which is subordinate to Tanshan Sanyou Group, has been issued to the market in Shanghai on June 18,2003. There are more than thirty varieties of four gig main kinds such as soda ash, viscose staple fibre, caustic soda and calcium chloride, among which the soda ash ranks the first in the whole country and its production capacity is about 1,150,000 t/y. and the viscose staple fibre ranks the second in China. The sales net of the corporation is throughout the world. The products of soda ash and viscose staple fibre have been sold and exported to more than thirty countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and Australia, and won fine honours in the domestic and abroad.

    Sanyou Group is a scientific research station of the post-doctors defined by the nation, and owns an advanced process equipment and strong technical research system. The production line for the viscose staple fibre is the only one facility in the domestic which was completely imported from abroad.
